JENNIFER BRINKERHOFF PLATT
God's Gifts Are Enough
Jennifer Brinkerhoff Platt is an Arizona native, having recently moved to Utah at the completion of her doctoral studies in developmental psychology at Arizona State University. She was a seminary and institute instructor for ten years before joining the religious education faculty at Brigham Young University in 2011, where she teaches the Book of Mormon and New Testament. Her greatest love in life is her new husband, Jed. At the age of 41, they finally found each other and celebrate their marriage as a realization of things hoped for and not seen. Jennifer researches and writes about ritual in various contexts and how rituals help us to live intentionally. A life long dream came true for her when she began humanitarian work in Ethiopia in 2009. Presently, she serves on the board of directors for Hope Arising, an organization that completed a water line for a dry village in Dera, Ethiopia. Her first book will be published this fall.
